Step #2 Getting to 'the screw'Ok using the torx 20 screwdriver, unscrew the 3 screws at the bottom of the glove compartment as seen here. ![]() You need these screws to put it back so don't lose them. Then open the glove box and take out the 3 screws located here. ![]() After those 6 screws are out you need to unsnap two snaps that are running along the right side of the cup holder, and right side of the air controls. To unsnap the two snaps you can use a hook tool but I just pry'ed it off with my baseplate. Pry open both as shown here. ![]() ![]() (You may notice my cubby box has been removed. I thought I needed to remove it to get the console off, but I don't think it helped in any way to remove the cubby box so you can leave it in place the whole time.) Now at this point I know I need to unsnap another snap or two to get the the glovebox all the way out, but I coulnd't find the snaps. This didn't matter to me because I now have access to the screw. ![]()
